Jay Hind - International Grocery Store

I wasn’t from around here—I just stopped by out of curiosity and thought it was just another Asian market at first. This Indian market has such a huge variety! They have many types of rice, different kinds of flour, and so many fresh vegetables I’ve never seen anywhere else. I’ve shopped at Asian markets all over, but I’ve never found vegetables like these before! Super exciting and definitely worth a visit if you love exploring unique foods. Indian market with bundles of unusual vegetables you can’t find in regular Asian markets. If you’re looking for rare or hard-to-find vegetables, definitely come check out the produce section at an Indian market. There’s so much variety, and it’s a great place to discover something new!

I recently visited Jay-Hind International Grocery and was absolutely delighted! The store is a treasure trove of authentic Indian spices, fresh produce, and ingredients that remind me of home cooked meals with family. The variety of dals, masalas, and snacks like chakli and sev brought back so many memories. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and I even picked up some great tips on cooking a perfect biryani. If any lovely Indian woman is reading this, I’d love to share a homemade meal sometime et’s connect over our love for Indian cuisine! Highly recommend this place to anyone craving a taste of India.

Well-stocked, clean store. Employees greeted us when we came in. There's a wall of frozen foods and a vegetables section with good selection. Many rows of spices, teas, canned food, and large variety of rices and grains. Perfect place to get ingredients for Indian cooking.

It's a nice, comfortable store. I know very little about indian grocery items but i think I can say it has everything you need. They have a selection of fresh produce, frozen meals, snacks, cheeses, breads, beverages, and a whole aisle for different kinds of flour. They of course have a lot of spices from bulk sizes to refills--much cheaper than your grocery store.

Best Indian grocery in louisville, hands down. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they have an excellent selection of produce and all the dried goods and spices you'd expect from an Indian grocery. I was delighted recently to find fresh green jackfruit and sugar cane. If only they had a halal butcher, I'd never have to shop anywhere else.
